Description
Our “Introduction to Gliding” Day is a small package of flights (2 x winch launches and 2 x 2000 feet aerotows) designed to be taken on one day. During the day you will be given an in-depth look at the sport and start to learn the skills required to fly a glider. By the end of the day you will have started the journey towards being a solo pilot. Alternatively, you could sit back and let your instructor fly you across the Lincolnshire Countryside as you enjoy the view.
In addition, this experience includes temporary membership of the Club for 3 months, during which additional flights can be taken at ‘club rates’, as listed on the Become a Member page. All flight times are approximate, subject to the weather. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. We fly weekends and Wednesday’s, subject to the weather.
The date (slot) for this experience cannot be booked online, as we arrange them specially – we will make contact with you once you have bought the voucher to offer/discuss dates.
